Hey there, my name’s Chris and I’ve been involved in the RC car and truck hobby for the majority of my life. At this point, that’s over three decades! (It’d be even longer if I hadn’t stepped away from the hobby for the better part of a decade.) Some of the vehicles I’ve owned in the past range from classics like the Tamiya Lunchbox and the original Associated RC10 to things like the HPI Proceed and HPI Q32 Tessmann Edition Truggy.
I’m excited to be back into the world of RC cars and trucks and I’m even more excited to be sharing my passion for our hobby through this blog. On the site, you’ll find posts about the different project vehicles I’m working on, personal stories detailing my experiences through the years, and a smattering of other RC-focused features.
The focus of Crow City RC is the budget-minded hobbyist. Personally, I live on a strict and limited budget. That forces me to make informed and wise decisions when purchasing anything. That goes doubly for non-essential purchases. Everything mentioned on this site will have your wallet in mind as I strive to find the best quality parts, tools, and accessories available at reasonable prices. It IS possible to have a blast with RC vehicles without also going bankrupt.
Thanks for stopping by the site and taking a moment to check us out. I hope you enjoy your time here and that you share your thoughts and opinions on the hobby with us in return. My ultimate dream is to build a community of like-minded RC hobbyists who share a common passion. I hope you join our growing family!
